Easter and Other Happenings

Avery once again loved the Easter bunny.  Deep down I have always wanted to get one of those pictures of the baby screaming while visiting Santa/Bunny.  Nope not with this kid. She loves it. Haha

I am pretty much addicted to Pinterest.  I found these cute treats so I made them for Avery's class.  They were a hit.

The bunny was clever this year and left a trail of eggs from Avery's bedroom door to the living room where her basket was. She loved following it.

Not to into the ears but humored us so we could get a picture.

The bubble gun however has a HIT.  That Easter bunny sure made her day with that one.

Happy Easter everyone.

In other BIG news.....

Avery now sleeps in a BIG girl bed.  I dreaded this transition but once again she has proved to be the easiest child alive.  LOL  She has not gotten out at all and even waits in bed for us in the morning to come and get her.

Also, we are potty training!!!  We have had the potty in the bathroom for months but she has not been interest.  One night something must have clicked and wala she is using the potty.  And pretty consistently too.  We make a big deal out of it every time and reward her with stickers and occasioanly a jelly bean.  I would not say she is fully trained yet but we are well on our way.  I will update in a few weeks.

Good job Avery!!!

Tahoe

We decided to take Avery to the snow for the first time at the beginning of March.  It was such a blast and Avery has been talking about it ever since.  She was super brave and LOVED sledding. She did a great job in the car (minus getting car sick and throwing up everywhere).  We can not wait to go again. Pretty sure this will be a annual trip for us.

I'm going to let the pictures do the talking......

Thank you the the fabulous Yorkey family for letting us stay with you!!

February at A Glance

February was relatively quiet around the Gatto house.  I have to admit, it was kinda nice considering December and January were packed full.

Josh always has to work on Valentine's day (bummer) but at least I have my princess to go on dates with now. Haha

Avery did her first Valentine's for friends at school.

 Pretty roses from the husband

Auntie Shannon has been our Valentine's day dinner date for about three years.  We love her.

This night Avery wanted auntie Neenee to read her bedtime stories.  Super cute.

We got to hang with the cousins while they were in town one weekend.  These three together are a handful!!!

I also had an evening out with the girls!!  Love them.
