Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year.  Avery actually trick-or-treated and was so fun watch.  It took her about 5 houses before she got the hang of it.  And just because any child that small asking for candy is like the curtest thing ever, every house decided to give her like 5 pieces.  Thanks a lot. Lets just say mommy and daddy have been eating way to much candy this week.  Looking forward to next year already!!

First stop was the Redondo house.

I'm thankful Avery wanted to organize her candy more than eat it when we got home.  I'm sure next year will be much different.

Happy Halloween everyone!!

Disney On Ice

We took Avery to her first Disney On Ice show last week.  I absolutely love these shows.  It was something I used to do with me niece and nephew every year.  It was a little risky but Avery did awesome.  Because we didn't have to pay for her (you are free until age 2) we decided to pay a little extra and sit close up.  I'm talking 2nd row close.  Never again will I sit far away. It was so great to be able to see the characters faces in detail.  We will definitely be going every year from now on.

Waiting for the show to start

 Aladdin

Enjoying every minute of it!!!

Until next year Disney....

Pumpkin Patch Visit # 3

The weekend before Halloween, my brother invited us up to go with them to the pumpkin patch.  We hitched a ride with Grammy and Papa because Josh had to work and miss out.  Unlike the pumpkin patches in Cupertino, this one was huge.  You got to actually pick the pumpkins straight off the vine.  A first for me.  They also had some pretty cool things for the kiddos.  Avery loved spending time with the cousins.

 Cousins
They had a pool size ditch filled with corn kernels.  The kids got to slide and play in it.  Avery LOVED it.
 Wagon ride with Cam
They alsohad these super cool adult sized tricycles.  We couldn't resist!

My dad is so funny.  The inner child definitely came out in him.
We though this would be easy......boy were we wrong.
This is the best shot we could get of the kiddos.
 Strollin with uncle Kevin.
Aren't they so cute?

Thanks for the invite Kevin and Krista!!

Avery's First School Performance

Avery had her first school performance the Friday before Halloween.  It was a cute little sing along with about 7 Halloween songs.  I honestly did not know how it was going to go.  But as usual she blew us away.  She was such a big girl and stood there and hammed it up.   She didn't sing much but hey she did not cry so I consider it a success.  There was quite a crowd too, about 40 kids families.  Good job Avery mommy and daddy are so proud of you!!!

This is pretty much what she looked like the entire time.  I have it all on video!!
 After her performance
With her awesome teacher Ms. Sandra
Grammy and GG came to watch too
 Cute little Foofa
 We are all so proud

Side note:  These are Avery's school pictures.  I think they are great.  She was not quite settled in yet and was clearly unsure of what was going on.  Hahah  They are so NOT her but I LOVE them anyways.
