Shoes

Well Avery has outgrown her first pair of big girl shoes. They lasted her about 6 months which I consider a pretty long time for an infant. They started with her when she was just crawling as you can see by the toes in the picture.

We decided to get her the exact same pair because they are such a great shoe. They provide good ankle support and they are super cute.

I hope these last a little longer!

Don't worry I am not going to post every time she outgrows a pair of shoes but these were her 1st ones. She is just growing up way to fast.

Obsessed

I have been meaning to document Avery's obsession with laundry for some time now. She just loves when I bring in a fresh out the dryer load in and throw in on the living room floor. She has to try everything on and model it for us. It is so funny.

Mom's pants look good

How about dad's shirt?

This girl cracks me up!!!!

Avery's New Ride

We have been having some awesome weather and we have been getting the itch to bike ride. I found Avery a bike seat on craigslist that we have been wanting to get. It is in perfect condition and cost about a quarter of what it would be in the store. Awesome!!! We went out and bought her a new helmet and I must say it is the cutest thing I have ever seen. She still has to grow into it a bit but we need to protect those brains of hers.

Getting ready

And she is off!!!

We have only gone on a few rides and she seems to really like it. I love that we have something to do now as a family besides walking. Can't wait for our long summer rides.

Discovery Museum

A couple weeks back we decided to take Avery to the Children's Discovery Museum. There is a room upstairs designed for children 4 and under. We spent most of our time there. It was pretty busy that day but Avery had a blast.

She is so darn cute!!!

Playing hide and seek with the puppet show set. She spend about a half hour doing this.

She set up a picnic all by herself

Color

Sand play

I wish I took more pictures but it was really busy and we had to keep close eye on her so she would not disappear into the crowd.

Cant wait to go again!!!

Josh turns 30

Josh turned 30 on February 4th. This means I get to ease him for 6 months about him being in his 30's and not me. Haha. I know.....so mean. GG and Nono were gracious enough to come down and stay the night with Avery so we could have a night out. We started the night off with dinner and friends.

The pics above loaded backwards but I really didn't feel like fixing them. So basically I am the coolest wife ever and got Josh skydiving for his birthday. This pics showed him opening the gift up. Don't get me wrong, I am terrified for him but he has wanted to do it for so long. What better time than your 30th birthday right? I will be right there on the ground watching him when he jumps.

Then it was off to Coach's bar to play darts and hang with more friends. We had a great night.

The next day was super bowl so we had family and friends over and did some more celebrating.

His favorite burnt almond cake

Happy birthday honey. I love you!!!

Camryn turns 1

My niece Camryn turned 1 back on January 20th. We were so happy to be able to go and celebrate her big day. The pictures below are in no particular order. Just a bunch of fun party pics. Happy birthday Cam. We love you!!!!

Our attempt at getting a four year old and 2 one year olds to look at the camera at the same time. What were we thinking???

What we have been up to.....

Well I can hardly believe it is the middle of February. I also can not believe I have not blogged since Christmas. Shame on me!!!! Well we have been pretty busy around the Gatto house. I am going to attempt to catch you up the best I can.

I guess I should start with our very un-eventfull Valentine's day. Josh had to work and so did I so it was a pretty typical day for us. We did have dinner with Grammy and grandpa. Josh and Avery got me some very beautiful roses and that totally made my day. I did not take a single picture on this day of love but boy is my heart filled with love for my princess and her daddy. Hope everyone had a great V-day!!!

Winter seemed to arrive very late this year so in return we got to take a trip to the beach at the begining of January. It was so much fun to let Avery run around and play in the sand.

She would have gone all the way in if we did not stop her

Having so much fun

Playing with daddy

Check out this bed head Avery had one morning!!!!

We have also had a chance to go visit baby Olivia Campbell a few times. She belongs to our good friends Kim, Rory and big sister Zoey. She made her grand dubut on December 31st. Welcome baby girl.

I love this picture. Can't wait for her and Avery to be BFFs.

We had the opportunity to take Avery to happy hallow a few weeks ago. The weather was great and she had a blast. Getting season passes for the summer for sure.

Feeding the goats

Last but not least we had some fun with bubbles in the garage one night with our pal Ethan and Jenny.

Precious!!!

Well I think that about sums it up. I am going to try real hard to keep up on a more regular basis. Wish me luck!!!
