Winter Program

Avery had her second little performance since she started school in October.  We are super impressed with how she handles so many people watching her.  Her show was about 10 minutes long that included about 8 holiday songs.  She sang a few words here and there.  It is so fun going and watching her.  I am one proud Mommy!!!!

Good job Avery!!!

Avery Turns 2

On December 14th, our princess turned two years old.   We can not believe how fast time is flying by.  I wish I could just freeze time.  My baby has become a very talkative and energetic toddler.  She is such a sweet girl and makes each day worth living for.  My love for her is indescribable!!!!  Happy birthday baby girl.

This was last year...

And this is this year.  What a difference a year makes!!

Her birthday fell on a Friday this year so I made these cute little reindeer donuts for her class.  They were a big hit!!!
We didn't do much Friday night.  Daddy worked so Grammy came over and we took her to dinner at her favorite place, Chipotle.  We topped it off with a cupcake.
 Yummy

Saturday we celebrated her with a party at Grammy and Papa's house.  Besides the rain everything was perfect.  Thank you to everyone who was able to come and celebrate with us.
Avery is super into the show Yo Gabba Gabba so we went with that theme.

 She loves her Auntie Nicki
 Big cousin Ruby

Presents were a little frustrating for her.  She liked opening them but as soon as she did she wanted them open immediately.  She did not like putting it aside and moving onto the next one.  We finally just opened one toy and Josh and I did the rest of the opening.

Enjoying a bag of chips with her Nonno
Avery was SUPER spoiled by her GG and Nonno.  They gave her a Mercedes Benz!!  Mommy and daddy are super jealous.  Hahah.  She has got the gas peddle down but needs some work with steering.
Happy Birthday baby girl.  We love you VERY VERY much!!!

Getting Ready for Christmas

I always like to get our tree the day after Thanksgiving and I also like to go cut it down in the mountains.  I had to decide this year witch one was more important.  I decided getting our tree early was more important.  We just did not have time to go cut it down.  Bummer.  At least it is real. I settled on going to home depot.  They actually have really nice trees.  Anywho.....

 We found it!

I thought Avery would be way more interested this year in decorating the tree but I was wrong.  She was into it for about 5 minutes and then decided her toys were way more interesting.  O well, maybe next year.
Princess and I after the tree was done
At one point, I looked over and found her like this.
 Pretty

Of course we had to go visit Santa.  Avery loved him.

Can't wait till Christmas!!!!

Pictures

Wow.....Christmas is in two days and I just realized that I have not blogged since Halloween.  Gonna try my best to update you all before all the fun Christmas events.

Lets see......I completely failed on taking pictures on Thanksgiving. We spent this year in Napa with GG, Nonno, and a bunch of cousins. Avery had a blast running around with her favorites, Ruby and Lucy. I promise to be better next year!

In mid November we had our family pictures taken by our friend Ryan.  He does such a great job and always seems to capture Avery's personality.  Here are some of our favorites.

Thanks again Ryan!!

Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year.  Avery actually trick-or-treated and was so fun watch.  It took her about 5 houses before she got the hang of it.  And just because any child that small asking for candy is like the curtest thing ever, every house decided to give her like 5 pieces.  Thanks a lot. Lets just say mommy and daddy have been eating way to much candy this week.  Looking forward to next year already!!

 Family picture
First stop was the Redondo house.

I'm thankful Avery wanted to organize her candy more than eat it when we got home.  I'm sure next year will be much different.

Happy Halloween everyone!!

Disney On Ice

We took Avery to her first Disney On Ice show last week.  I absolutely love these shows.  It was something I used to do with me niece and nephew every year.  It was a little risky but Avery did awesome.  Because we didn't have to pay for her (you are free until age 2) we decided to pay a little extra and sit close up.  I'm talking 2nd row close.  Never again will I sit far away. It was so great to be able to see the characters faces in detail.  We will definitely be going every year from now on.

Waiting for the show to start

 Aladdin
 Genie
 Cinderella
 Goofy
 Woody
Enjoying every minute of it!!!

Until next year Disney....
