Last weekend we took a trip to the pumpkin patch. Grandpa, grammy, auntie Nicki, and uncle Paul came along too. I'm a little disapointed that we didnt bring any pumpkins home but we are going again on Saturday so I will be sure to pick some up than.

This is Avery's first poney tail.....isn't that the cuttest thing you have ever seen/

10 Months

It is hard for me to say this but Avery turned 10 months old two days ago. I can not believe how fast time is going. She is such a big girl and growing up so fast. I have been pretty good about taking a picture on the 14th of every month but this past week has been crazy so here is one for fun. Man does she love her food!!!

Love you sweet girl!

San Diego

Last weekend we took our first airplane trip. We went down to San Diego. Josh was in one of his best friends weddings. It was a busy trip and we were both really nervous about how Avery would do, but as usual, she did great. She slept for half of the ride there and the whole way home. Could we ask for anything better than that?? She is such a trooper.

I love that they printed this out for her
Playing at the airport before taking off

We were fortunate to have some friends live close by that we could stay with. They have a little boy, Jacob, that is 5 weeks older than Avery. They had so much fun playing together.

Our little ham at breakfast the 1st morning we were there.

The weather was pretty hot the whole time we were there so we took the kiddos to this little water park. Avery had never been to anything like this so I was really excited to see how she would do. You could probably tell from the next few pictures that she LOVED it. She had no fear.

Then it was off to the pumpkin patch. Also a first for Avery. The kids were mostly into eating the hay. Haha.

Last not not least we went to the park.

We thought this was cute but the kids were not so sure.

Super Josh!!!

Thank you Paul and Tara for letting us stay with you.

Crawling

Well I am bummed I did not blog about Avery becoming an "army crawler". She started that when she was about 8 months. I got used to the idea that she was gonna settle for getting around on her tummy but I was wrong. One night we were having dinner at grammy and grandpa's house and I put her down and she just took off. I was amazed. She has not stopped since. She officially crawled on her 9 1/2 month mark. Within one week she has started sitting up from laying down, pulling herself up. and cruising on everything. So we have been busy child proofing and chasing her around the house. The real fun has begun!

Carousal Ride

A few weeks ago Josh and I took Avery to our favorite park Vasona. We decided to to see how she liked the carousal. I went on with her so Josh could take pictures. She did awesome.

The first two pictures of her before the ride started.

And this is how her face looked every time we came around the corner. Priceless!!! Well she did not cry so we think she had a good time. Haha
