Family Reunion

Last weekend we packed up and drove to Aptos to spend the weekend for a family reunion. It was put together by Josh's aunt and uncle and included everyone on her side as well as his side of the family. We called it the LamCamFam Reunion. We were so busy and had so much fun. I did not take nearly enough pictures (like a big group shot.......silly me). There were probably about 30 or so people in all. Here are some pictures of the weekend in no particular order....

Father's Day

For father's day we decided last minute to go to the San Francisco Zoo. It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun just hanging as a family.

Of course we had to start the day off with presents........

Avery got daddy a business card holder and I ordered this cute onsie for Avery.

They had a special exhibit going on about Tarantulas.......they were HUGE and scary. I had no idea they got this big.

Birthdays at the Beach

A few weeks ago some of our friends rented a beach house in Capitola for the weekend to celebrate Ilyas and Andrea's birthday. We headed up for the day to have some fun.

Beach day

Some friends and I decided to take a trip to the beach this week before summer schools starts. It was a bit cold at first but I think I would rather have it that way than way to hot. Jenny and I (with the babies) went up and met Vanessa, her cousin, her friend, and her friend's daughter. We got there a bit early so we decided to take he littles on a few rides. Avery even went on her very first Caveman ride. It was really dark but she did great and did not even cry. We had such a blast!!!

6 Months

Avery turned six months old today. We can not believe how fast she is growing up. She did so good in her pictures today and we got so many great shots. It was hard to choose but here are some of our favorites.

2 year anniversary

Monday was our two year anniversary but we celebrated on Saturday. GG was nice enough to come down and stay with little miss so mommy and daddy could have a night out. I usually always have my camera on me but I decided to give Josh a night off (he does not really like to take pictures).

We started the night off with dinner at La Fondue. So yummy!! After dinner we went and saw The Hangover 2 followed by a nightcap at a nearby bar. It was so nice to enjoy each others company without worrying about Avery. We have not seen a movie since Avery was born so that was a great treat. Avery was so good for GG and we were still home by 11 (I know its pathetic). Thanks GG!!

Happy anniversary Josh. I love you with all my heart and could not imagine life without you!!!

Bath Fun

Since Avery has started sitting up, I went and picked her up this awesome bath seat. She was getting a little big for her infant one. For the most part she loves it. She is still getting used to the water rolling down her face though when I wash her hair and she gets a little frustrated when she droppes her toys and cant pick them up. We will keep practicing.

Teething

I have not been able to capture the little pearly white on camera yet but Avery has one tooth on the bottom and a second one on the way. I thought teething was going to be so bad but she has been so good. A few fussy days here and there but no big deal. I will take it. She has not waken up in middle of the night or anything. Let's hope it stays this way. As soon as I capture the little thing I will share because it is so cute.

Memorial Day

We decided to take a trip up to Napa to spend the holiday. Josh's aunt and uncle had a bbq with lots of friends and food. Josh has really bad allergies so he had to spend most of the time inside but Avery and I enjoyed the beautiful weather.

I am disappointed that I did not take more pictures of all the kids running around. They had such a blast.

Sitting Up

Avery has been working on sitting up the last few weeks and I think she has got it down. I still put the boppy pillow behind her just to make sure but she is pretty good. I swear one day she couldn't do it and bam the next she could. She is growing up way to fast. Next thing I know she will be crawling. Slow down baby girl!
