Rolling
On Saturday (her 4 1/2 month mark exactly) Avery finally rolled from her tummy to back.. She had been so close for a couple weeks now. She likes to go half way and then just hang out on her side before falling back to her back. Not anymore.......she did it!! We were both there to see it (awesome) and we cheered so loud for her when she did it. She was so proud and gave us the biggest smile. Of course my camera was in the other room. I went to get it but she didn't do it again. She took a break on Sunday but did it again twice today so I guess we officially have a roller. Now lets just hope she can roll back to her back soon cause she does not like to be on her tummy that much. She just likes getting there. I am working on catching it on video....
Cereal
We have slowly started introducing little miss to solids. I guess the new "recommendation" is six months but Josh and I felt that she was ready. We have only done cereal so far and she seems to like it. We will probably wait for her to turn 5 months before starting fruits and veggies. For now we are still taking to slow so she gets the hang of it.
Cousin Fun
On Easter weekend we also got to meet the newest member of the family, Camryn Reese Christianson. She is just about 5 weeks younger than Avery although you would think differently by the looks of the pictures. Avery looks like a giant next to sweet Camryn. I am so excited that they have moved back to California after living in Las Vegas for quite some time. The girls will have a fun growing up together along with Camryn's big brother Rylan who will be 4 in June.
Welcome home Christianson family!!
First Easter
Avery's first Easter was pretty low key. We actually hosted it at our house and some of the family joined us. We are fortunate enough to have Josh's grandma live next door so she did most of the cooking along with Josh's mom who came down from Napa to celebrate with us. We pretty much cooked next door and brought it over to eat. It was super delicious. Since grammy was out of town my dad decided to join us along with my brother and family who just moved back from Las Vegas.
We decided not to to the whole Easter basket thing this year cause Avery is still small (I am feeling kinds guilty about it). We will definitely make up for it next year though.
The pictures are Avery's Easter goodies from grammy and grandpa.
