Jenny Jump Up
On Sunday we decided to break open Avery's Jenny Jump Up. We got this as a gift and I have been excited to try it out. She did pretty good. She did not quite understand that she could jump and more used it as a swing and a teether but hey......whatever works. She didn't cry so I consider it a success.

Party Time
On Saturday we went and celebrated Ashley's 2nd birthday. Ashley is Jeff and Michell's little girl who we adore so much. I can not believe she is two already. Can't wait to see Avery running around with her soon.
Snow Bunny
Avery's fussiest time is the early evening before bath time. A few nights ago we decided to take her for a stroll cause she seems to love the fresh air. It is still a little cold so we decided to get some use out of her adorable snow outfit since we will not be visiting the snow and she will outgrow it by next year. She reminded us of the little boy from A Christmas Story that could not put his hands down. We got a good laugh but she loved it.

Bumbo-tastic
Little Miss Avery has started to use her bumbo seat. For the most part she LOVES it but does get tired after a few minutes. After all it is still hard work for her to hold up her little head.
Night Out
Last week we had a chance to go out for the evening to celebrate our dear friend Nicki's "dirty thirty" birthday. Nonno and GG were so gracious to drive down from Napa and stay with the little one. It was a much needed night out and we had so much fun!!

Avery's First Pictures
A Visit to Stratford
About a week and a half ago Jenny, Baby E, Jessica, and Avery and I went to visit Stratford. I have only been there a couple times since Avery arrived so it was nice to see everyone and show off my beautiful baby girl. I can not believe in two weeks I have to return to work. It will be so sad to leave her but at least she will be in good hands with daddy.

All caught up
Well I think I am all caught up for the most part. I know there a few events that I left out but I am ok with that. I am looking forward to blogging about current events now.
First Smiles
Valentines Day
Valentines day this year was pretty uneventful. Josh was REALLY sick with the flu so I had to keep Avery away from him as much as possible. We decided to have a girls date with my awesome co-teacher Shannon. We dined at Pasta Pomodora and had a great time (although Avery does not look like it in the picture). She was just as hungry as we were. Haha.

Christmas 2010
Christmas is always a crazy time for us. There is a lot of traveling involved. Avery did such a good job in the car and slept pretty much the whole time. Considering she was only about a week old, I didn't expect much more from her. It was so much fun to introduce her to everybody. Our first stop was Anticoch to spend Christmas eve with the Schneiders.
First Christmas as a family
All the cousins
Our next stop was my parents house for Christmas breakfast. I always look forward to this breakfast. We also opened presents with my brothers and nephew.
Mommy and baby Avery
Grandpa And Avery
After breakfast and presents we headed to Napa to spend the rest of the day and night with Josh's parents and family. It was very relaxing. Josh's mom also decided to let mom and dad sleep while she took care of the baby all night. It just so happens this was the first night she slept through the night. Thanks grandma GG!!
